River Jones, a native of Chicago, has lived in North Alabama since she was 16 years old. Discovered by Jimmy Oliver in 2004, she spent a brief period working part-time at our sister station KIX96, but left after one year to pursue a different career path. That one year was enough to convince her that radio was something that she was not only good at, but deeply loved. So in 2012 she decided that radio was in fact her calling, and returned to Big River Broadcasting to work weekends. Described by her peers as “plucky”, funny, and good natured, spend time with Q107’s River Jones, weeknds from Noon to 6pm!
